Mr. Martin's
practice experience includes the representation of both companies
and individuals in residential and commercial real estate issues
including leasing, preparation of restrictive and protective
covenants, purchase contracts, letters of intent, and title insurance issues. He also is
experienced in the licensing and legal responsibilities of real
estate agents, brokers, and firms. Mr. Martin has been rated by his
peers as being "preeminent" in his fields of law. Prior to
joining the firm, he owned a private practice and was also the Chief
Federal Public Defender for the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of
North Carolina.
