Mr. Stephenson's practice experience encompasses business law (including formations, transfers and acquisitions, tax planning, and controversies), estate planning, and business and corporate management counseling. His practice is focused on advising business owners, representation of their companies, negotiation of contracts and agreements, and estate and business succession planning. Mr. Stephenson has lectured extensively in continuing legal education programs and to civic organizations on business organizations and transactions and estate and tax planning. He also has authored and co-authored manuscripts on those subjects. Mr. Stephenson has been an officer and member of the boards of directors of numerous civic, charitable, and economic development organizations. He has been rated by his peers as being "preeminent" in his fields of law.
