Biography
Dr. Singh-Wissmann's patent agent experience includes preparation and prosecution of patents, primarily in the biotechnology field, as well as performance of prior art literature research. She has particular knowledge in the areas of pharmaceuticals, DNA, RNA and protein molecules, DNA expression vectors, transgenic plants, yeast expression systems, anaerobic bacteria, antibodies, protein purification, enzyme assays, drug screening, and diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Dr. Singh-Wissmann's past experience includes that as a scientist, Project Manager, and Director of Genetic Engineering at CropTech Corporation, and as a molecular biologist with Monsanto Company. She was a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Singh-Wissman is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
