Michael P. Flanagan
Mr. Flanagan is leader of the Financial Institutions Practice Group. His practice experience encompasses many years of representing lenders and other creditors. Mr. Flanagan has represented creditors in many of the largest bankruptcy cases in North Carolina. He has coordinated statewide representation in over 2,500 consumer bankruptcy cases. Mr. Flanagan has managed foreclosures in all 100 counties of North Carolina. He has represented numerous banks in farming and auto dealer workouts. Mr. Flanagan has been a lecturer for the North Carolina Bar Foundation as well as numerous trade groups. He is a former director and chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Mr. Flanagan has been rated by his peers as being "preeminent" in his fields of law.
