Who should attend?

This program is designed for human resources professionals, in-house legal counsel, and corporate controllers with human resources responsibilities.

 

How much does registration cost?

There is no registration fee for the Symposium, but a confirmed registration is required. Click here to register or visit the Registration page for additional information.

Is there a limit to how many people can come from one company?

Attendees are limited to one guest. Please email rsvp@wardandsmith.com if you would like to bring more than one guest with you.

I'm traveling from out of town, where should I stay?

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hotel Ballast a Tapestry Collection by Hilton for the evening of May 17. For more information, visit our Venue and Parking Information page.

How do I get to the Hilton?

For directions to the Hilton from all major interstates and highways leading into Wilmington, click here.

Where should I park?

Based on business demands at the time of the Symposium, parking is not guaranteed for non‑overnight guests in the Hilton lots.

Ward and Smith, P.A. has reserved Lot A of Cape Fear Community College on May 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Click here for a printable PDF map. Lot A is a short walk away from the Hilton. There is no cost to park in this lot and parking spaces will be available on a first come, first serve basis. You do not need a parking pass to enter the lot, there will be a guard stationed at the entrance to direct you upon arrival to direct you.

Will food and beverages be provided?

Our Symposium will begin with a networking breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Beverages will be served throughout the day and the Symposium will conclude at the lunch hour.  Lunch will not be served at the Symposium.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Most dietary needs can be accommodated. Email rsvp@wardandsmith.com to make necessary arrangements.

Will you be offering any continuing education credits?

The Symposium has been pre-approved for CLE, HRCI, and SHRM continuing education credits. Please visit the Accreditations page for additional information.

Will the Symposium be recorded for later viewing?

The Symposium will not be recorded for later viewing.

What ages can come?

We love kids, but this Symposium is geared towards adults. There is no childcare available on site.
