Madeline Lipe Williams
Business and Community Associations Attorney
Madeline has a versatile practice focused on community associations, business law, and land use and zoning matters.
She advises boards and homeowners on all aspects of community association law, including corporate governance, document amendments, fiduciary duties, and rule enforcement. Madeline also manages land use and zoning issues such as rezonings, special use permits, conditional rezonings, and variances.
In addition, Madeline supports companies and leadership teams with transactional contracts and general corporate governance.
In 2019, Madeline was a Ward and Smith summer associate. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial extern for North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul Newby, where she wrote legal memoranda and researched state and federal law regarding civil and criminal matters, including business law and community associations.
