A Closer Look at Local Jobs at the Greater Greenville Chamber Power Luncheon

As employers compete for talent and the region continues to grow, understanding the local workforce matters more than ever.

Join the Greater Greenville Chamber on Tuesday, September 15, for its Power Luncheon, where business and community leaders will take a closer look at the data shaping Greenville-Pitt County’s economy.

Josh Lewis, President and CEO of Invest Greenville, will present findings from the organization’s 2026 intelligENCe: Labor Trends Report. His presentation will explore job growth, commuting patterns, population trends, and employment across key industries, as well as the community’s progress toward long-term job-creation goals.

Pitt County’s unemployment rate has reached a 35-year low while its labor force participation rate remains among the strongest in the region. Lewis will discuss what those numbers, and other workforce indicators, could mean for local employers, talent attraction efforts, and Greenville-Pitt County’s continued economic growth.

Ward and Smith is pleased to sponsor this opportunity for local professionals to connect and gain practical insight into the trends affecting the region.
