Allen Trask Elected to Cape Fear Museum Associates Board

Attorney Allen Trask has been elected to a three-year term on the Cape Fear Museum Associates Board.

The election took place at the organization’s annual meeting, where Cape Fear Museum Associates, Inc. also honored four retiring board members and named officers for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

Allen returns to an organization he knows well. He previously served on the Associates Board from 2016 to 2019, co-chaired its Development Committee from 2016 to 2017, and spent six years on the Museum’s Advisory Board from 2010 to 2016, including two years as its chair. He also served on the Advisory Board’s Strategic Planning Committee.

Allen practices out of Ward and Smith’s Wilmington office. He co-leads the firm’s Insurance Counseling and Recovery and Hemp and Cannabis Law practice groups and leads its Agribusiness Practice Group. His work spans litigation and dispute resolution alongside advisory work for real estate developers, community associations, agribusinesses, and all manner of other clients across the region.

Cape Fear Museum of History and Science, a Smithsonian Affiliate, preserves and shares the history, science, and cultures of the Lower Cape Fear region. Through exhibitions, programs, and educational outreach, the Museum encourages curiosity, discovery, and lifelong learning for visitors of all ages.
