Amy Wooten's commitment to the legal community has been further recognized with appointments to two crucial committees within the Wake County Bar Association and the Tenth Judicial District Bar.

Amy has been reappointed to the Bench-Bar Committee until December 2024. This committee facilitates collaboration between judges and attorneys.

Additionally, Amy was reappointed to the Professionalism Committee, which is responsible for upholding ethical standards within the legal profession. Within this committee, Amy will lead the Publications Subcommittee as its chair.

As a skilled litigation attorney, Amy excels in complex commercial disputes and passionately represents clients in fiduciary duty, unfair trade practices, and community associations disputes. Her experience extends to insurance coverage litigation, where she proactively protects policyholders against their insurance carriers. She co-chairs the firm's Insurance Counseling and Recovery Practice Group.

Beyond litigation, Amy defends licensed professionals before North Carolina's many professional and occupational licensing boards.
