Attorney Jeremy Wilson Elected to NCAJ Executive Committee

Ward and Smith attorney Jeremy Wilson has been elected to the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) for the 2026-27 term. Jeremy will serve as the organization’s PAC Chair.

NCAJ is a statewide association of trial lawyers and legal professionals committed to protecting the rights of North Carolinians, promoting access to justice, and supporting a fair and impartial legal system. The organization provides education, advocacy, and professional resources for lawyers who represent individuals and families across the state.

Jeremy, who is based in Ward and Smith’s Wilmington office, was elected as part of the organization’s leadership slate following the NCAJ Board of Governors’ approval of nominees in April. The election took place at the NCAJ Annual Meeting on June 26 in Wilmington.

Jeremy’s involvement with NCAJ predates this new role. He has served on NCAJ’s Board of Governors for multiple years, and also has served on the executive committee of NCAJ’s Auto Torts and Premises Liability Section, including as chair.

As PAC Chair, Jeremy will help support NCAJ’s political advocacy efforts and its work to advance policies that protect the interests of North Carolina consumers, workers, and families.

Jeremy leads Ward and Smith’s Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice, where he handles claims involving wrongful death, serious personal injury, and civil litigation before state and federal courts, including cases related to vehicle accidents, professional malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and class actions. He has extensive experience and training in trial advocacy, and has represented clients in numerous jury and bench trials across North Carolina.
