Real estate attorney Aulie Strickland has successfully completed the ULI Triangle Young Leaders Group’s 2025 Development 360 program, a six-month professional development initiative designed to provide emerging professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the real estate development process.
Held monthly from January through June, the program featured sessions led by senior-level industry experts covering key topics, including entitlements, finance, site and environmental design, architecture, construction, and leasing and disposition.
Each class began with networking opportunities, followed by interactive discussions emphasizing real-world case studies and best practices. The program aimed to foster a collegial atmosphere for learning and relationship-building among participants under the age of 35.
By completing the Development 360 Program, Aulie has deepened his insight into the full development cycle, enhancing his ability to navigate complex real estate projects and better serve his clients.
At Ward and Smith, Aulie focuses on commercial real estate, commercial development, real estate finance transactions, negotiation and preparation of leases, and retail, mixed-use, and office development. His experience includes representing national builders and developers in North and South Carolina, managing high-volume transactions, and coordinating utilities and infrastructure for large-scale projects.
