Avery Locklear to Lead Breakout Session at UNCP Women’s Empowerment Summit

Attorney Avery Locklear will lead a breakout session at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Women’s Empowerment Summit on March 27, 2026.

The summit, “Leading with Legacy and Vision,” brings together students, professionals, and community leaders to explore leadership, personal development, and professional growth.

Avery’s breakout session will focus on the challenges many women experience early in their careers, including imposter syndrome and navigating workplace expectations. The session will explore strategies for recognizing and addressing self-doubt while also emphasizing the importance of establishing healthy professional boundaries.

Designed as an interactive conversation, the breakout will combine guided discussion with a roundtable format, encouraging participants to share experiences, perspectives, and practical approaches for building confidence and sustaining long-term success in the workplace.
