Eastern Carolina Vocational Center’s 60th Anniversary Banquet is set to bring together advocates, employers, and community leaders for an evening that celebrates inclusive employment and decades of impact.

On Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Rock Springs Center in Greenville, NC, attendees will gather during National Disability Employment Awareness Month to honor ECVC’s mission of helping individuals with disabilities achieve meaningful vocational goals and a higher quality of life.

The program will feature a keynote address by actor, motivational speaker, and retired professional bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno—beloved for his portrayal of The Incredible Hulk—along with a plated dinner, a look back at ECVC’s history, and a forward-focused celebration of its future.

A signature moment of the evening will be the Employee Success Story of the Year award, recognizing an individual with a disability who has achieved success through meaningful community employment. ECVC, a self-sustaining nonprofit and AbilityOne federal contractor, plays a vital role in the national supply chain, including serving as one of the largest suppliers of batteries to the U.S. Military. Ward and Smith is supporting this milestone celebration as a sponsor.
