Erica Rogers Appointed Vice Chair of NCBA Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Committee

Ward and Smith is pleased to announce that attorney Erica Rogers has been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Committee for the 2026–2027 bar year.

The appointment reflects her ongoing commitment to leadership and service within the legal profession.

The Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Committee works to promote awareness, education, and engagement on issues affecting LGBTQ+ members of the legal community and those they serve. Through programming, dialogue, and collaboration, the committee seeks to foster a more inclusive and supportive profession.

A North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Trademark Law, Erica advises individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses of all sizes on a broad range of intellectual property matters. Her practice focuses on trademark selection and clearance, prosecution and registration, portfolio management, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
