Law Firm Alliance Earns Top Chambers Global Guide 2026 Ranking as Leading Law Firm Network Reflecting Ward and Smith, P.A.’s Commitment to Serving Clients Worldwide

The Law Firm Alliance (LFA) announced that it received a Leading Law Firm Network ranking in Chambers’ Global Guide 2026.

Ward and Smith, P.A. is proud to be one of the 25 member firms recognized by Chambers’ various ranking publications.

The ranking highlights the strength of the alliance’s global network of independent law firms and its ability to provide clients with sophisticated legal counsel across jurisdictions while maintaining the personalized service and responsiveness of regional and mid-sized firms. According to Chambers, the Law Firm Alliance offers clients “the global reach of a large firm while maintaining the personalized service, efficiency, and cultural alignment of mid-sized practices.”

Ward and Smith, P.A. joined the Law Firm Alliance in 2018 as the exclusive North Carolina member firm.  In late 2025, with the opening of a Columbia, South Carolina office, Ward and Smith, P.A. became the LFA member for both North and South Carolina. Membership in the invitation-only organization enables the firm to connect clients with trusted legal advisors throughout the United States and around the world, while also providing seamless support for matters that extend beyond North Carolina.

In 2024, Ward and Smith, P.A. attorney Bill Durr was appointed to the Law Firm Alliance Board of Directors, where he helps guide the organization’s strategic direction and continued growth. Since 2020, he has also served as co-chair of the LFA’s Litigation Community, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among litigation attorneys across the network.
