The Board of Visitors is composed of distinguished legal, business, nonprofit, and community leaders who support Wake Forest Law’s mission by providing strategic guidance and industry insight. The board serves as a key advisor to the law school, helping strengthen academic programs, identify internship and career opportunities for students, support fundraising initiatives, and ensure the curriculum remains responsive to the evolving needs of the legal profession.
Paul’s appointment reflects his longstanding leadership in the legal profession, as well as his commitment to advancing legal education and mentoring future attorneys.
Paul leads Ward and Smith’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group and is certified by both the American Board of Certification and the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law. His practice focuses on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, lender liability, collections, and complex commercial litigation.
