Ward and Smith, P.A. Welcomes David A. Fazzolare

Ward and Smith, P.A. is pleased to announce that David A. Fazzolare has joined the Firm.  Mr. Fazzolare is a patent attorney with extensive experience in biotech, pharma, and medical devices.  His practice centers on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, developing and managing patent portfolios, and counseling clients on patentability, infringement, and freedom‑to‑operate during all phases of a product’s lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.  Mr. Fazzolare received his law degree, cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University where he served as Senior Editor of the International Law and Management Review.  He also has a Master of Science degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.  Mr. Fazzolare will work in the Firm’s Raleigh office.  His practice is currently limited to federal patent law before the United States Patent and Trademark Office while his license to practice state law in North Carolina is pending.  He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
