Ward and Smith Sponsors 2022 Friends of Scouting Luncheon Honoring O. Temple Sloan, Jr.

Ward and Smith is excited to sponsor the 2022 Friends of Scouting Luncheon on September 14 at the PNC Arena in Raleigh.

This year’s luncheon honors O. Temple Sloan, Jr. with the North Carolina “Good Scout” Lifetime Achievement Award.” The recognition is presented to extraordinary community leaders for their outstanding contributions to improve the quality of life in North Carolina. This is Scouting’s highest local award.

The program 11:30 am with a reception, followed by lunch and remarks from the featured speaker Former President George W. Bush.

The Friends of Scouting Luncheon is an annual event that raises funds to support the programs of the East Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The council serves over 6,000 youth in 34 counties in eastern North Carolina.
