Ward and Smith Sponsors NC Chamber Government Affairs Reception in Raleigh

The NC Chamber will host its annual Government Affairs Reception on Wednesday, May 6, in Raleigh, and Ward and Smith is a proud sponsor.

Designed as a reception-style event, the gathering offers attendees the opportunity to engage directly with legislative leaders, legislative assistants, and NC Chamber leadership while gaining insight into issues that matter most to businesses across the state. North Carolina legislators and legislative assistants are invited to attend as guests on a complimentary basis.

The program includes welcome remarks from Jake Cashion, Vice President of Government Affairs for the NC Chamber, followed by a political briefing featuring nationally recognized strategists David Avella, Chairman of GOPAC, Inc., and Meghan Hays, President of West Shore Strategies. The bipartisan discussion will explore the current political landscape, electoral dynamics, and policy implications shaping North Carolina’s future.
