Ward and Smith Sponsors “The President’s Scholarship Gala”

Pitt Community College (PCC) President G. Dennis Massey is stepping down at the end of this academic year.

To honor the retiring college president, the PCC Foundation is throwing a gala in recognition of Massey’s 15 years of service.

The President’s Scholarship Gala, sponsored in part by Ward and Smith, will be held Friday, May 18 at the Rock Springs Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Organizers say the event will be a grand celebration to share special tributes in recognition of Massey’s outstanding accomplishments. 

In addition to dinner and dancing, there will be a silent auction and live music by the Emerald City Big Band. The doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available.

Money raised at the event will help fund scholarships for students.
