Ward and Smith to Sponsor the 2025 Twin Rivers YMCA Turkey Trot

Ward and Smith is proud to sponsor the 18th Annual Twin Rivers YMCA Turkey Trot 5K & 10K, taking place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Taberna Golf & Country Club in New Bern.

A beloved Thanksgiving Day tradition, the Turkey Trot brings together more than a thousand runners, walkers, families, and furry friends for a morning of fitness and community spirit.

The Turkey Trot features a competitive 10K, a family-friendly 5K run/walk (open to strollers and leashed dogs), and a Kid’s Dash. Whether participants are aiming for a personal best or simply working up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner, the event offers a lively start to the holiday.

Ward and Smith supports the YCMA’s Annual Campaign, which funds scholarships and financial assistance for programs such as youth sports, swim lessons, summer camp, and Y memberships.
