Anna is a trusts and estates attorney dedicated to providing insightful guidance and crafting personalized estate plans aligned with her clients’ objectives. She assists individuals and businesses by drafting essential estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trust agreements, and supporting documents such as durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, and advance directives. Anna also provides counsel on administrative efficiency, privacy, asset protection, fiduciary asset management, business succession planning, and tax optimization.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Anna served as a legal intern to the Honorable Louise W. Flanagan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and participated in Ward and Smith’s Summer Associate Program.

I am a proud member of a military family. The United States Marine Corps brought my husband and me to eastern North Carolina in May 2020. He currently serves as a Captain, AV-8B Harrier Pilot, at MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock, North Carolina. Additionally, my father-in-law, sister-in-law, and three brothers-in-law served in the United States military.
What sparked my interest in law:
My mother is a career District Attorney, and my father retired in 2022 after 43 years in law enforcement. Throughout my life, I’ve watched my parents work tirelessly to advocate for members of their local community. I went to law school so I could be in a position where one day I could do the same.
Other interests/activities:
My husband and I are fiercely loyal to our sports teams: the Denver Broncos, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Carolina Tar Heels
In the summer, we enjoy hosting “land-locked” friends and family for long weekends on the Crystal Coast with our golden retriever, Beau (named after our favorite North Carolina town, Beaufort).
