Courtnee is the firm’s Marketing Proposal and Business Development Specialist. She is the lead team member for firm responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Statements of Qualification, and other formal proposals or bids. Courtnee also manages the firm’s rankings and recognitions program, coordinating submissions and strategic positioning across major legal industry publications and awards.

Before joining Ward and Smith, Courtnee gained extensive marketing experience in the nonprofit sector and local government. This background provided her with a strong foundation in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and community-focused initiatives that she now applies to developing clear, strategic communications about the firm and its attorneys.
