Meghan serves as a litigation paralegal for the firm’s family law practice. She earned her paralegal certificate from Carteret Community College.

Meghan has demonstrated her commitment to Ward and Smith since her unconventional start as a part-time temp hire in the mail room.  She has since provided her talents in various capacities, including word processing, administrative assistant to David Ward in the business section, and administrative assistant in the family law section, before taking on her current role as a paralegal in the New Bern office.
