Adam Beaudoin and Hunter Cornelius to Speak at 2026 Community Association Law Day Symposium

Attorneys Adam Beaudoin and Hunter Cornelius are among the featured speakers at the 2026 Community Association Law Day Symposium, hosted by the North Carolina Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NC).

This unique virtual event brings together hundreds of board members and community association managers each year to stay current on key developments in community association law. The half-day program includes 12 varied topics, a legislative update focused on North Carolina community associations, and presentations from 20 of the state’s leading HOA and condominium law attorneys. Participants earn four continuing education units (CEUs) for attending.

Adam, who holds the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL) designation, will co-present two sessions at this year’s symposium. In MythBusters! Top 10 Biggest Financial Misconceptions in the Community Association Universe, Beaudoin will join Eric Bregman, CPA, of Earney Accountants & Advisors to tackle some of the most common — and costly — financial misunderstandings that community associations face. He will also co-present From Confusion to Clarity: Identifying and Avoiding Insurance Obstacles alongside Andrew J. Bateman, CIC, CIRMS, CMCA, of Alera Group, and Cynthia Jones, CCAL, of Sellers Ayers Dortch & Lyons, P.A. That session will help board members and managers navigate the complexities of community association insurance coverage.

Hunter will present Designing Within the Lines: A Guide to Architectural Review, offering practical guidance on one of the most common sources of conflict in community associations — the architectural review process.

The 2026 Community Association Law Day Symposium takes place virtually on Friday, March 13, from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. You can preview the full lineup of 2026 topics here.
