Attorney Emily Sullivan Joins Good Shepherd Center Board of Directors

Emily Sullivan, a real estate and land use attorney in Ward and Smith’s Wilmington office, has joined the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Center.

Good Shepherd Center is a Wilmington nonprofit dedicated to feeding people experiencing hunger, sheltering people experiencing homelessness, and helping individuals transition to stable housing. Its work includes initiatives such as Homeless to Housed, Sheltering the Homeless, Feeding the Hungry, Meeting Basic Needs, SECU Lakeside Reserve, and The Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center.

As a board member, Emily joins a group of volunteers from diverse professional and community backgrounds who govern the organization, playing a vital role in shaping its strategic direction, including projects such as the Home For Good campaign.

Emily’s legal practice focuses on zoning issues and regulations, real estate development and acquisitions, and commercial landlord-tenant matters. She assists clients with drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, reviewing title examinations, and navigating regulatory approvals and permitting processes with government agencies and municipal boards. She also advises landlords on lease negotiations, amendments, and tenant-related matters.
