Forum Selection Clauses – An Overlooked Contractual Pitfall
May 8, 2026
Scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024, this beloved event promises an exhilarating morning filled with camaraderie and cultural festivities. It offers a meaningful nod to cherished traditions.
Participants will gather at 9:00 a.m. in front of Centro Mexican Restaurant on South Wilmington Street, ready to embark on a scenic journey through Raleigh’s historic Oakwood Cemetery.
The race is more than just a 5K—it’s an opportunity to honor loved ones who have passed away while celebrating life with those who remain. Participants are encouraged to stop by the beautifully adorned altar on Wilmington Street, where they can offer flowers and leave heartfelt messages in memory of their dearly departed.
In keeping with tradition, the “Sponsor a Little Runner” program will help over 100 children from the Boys & Girls Club experience the joy of participating in this community event. For just $35, sponsors can cover a child’s entry fee, offering them not only a chance to run but also a meaningful way to connect with their community.
Since its inception, the Day of the Dead 5K has raised over $175,000 for the Brentwood Boys & Girls Club, thanks to generous donations and enthusiastic participation. Ward and Smith proudly joins as a sponsor this year, alongside other dedicated supporters, reinforcing their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Packet pickup is conveniently available at Runologie on Thursday and Friday before race day, but participants are encouraged to collect their packets early to avoid race day lines. On Saturday morning, dressed in costumes that range from colorful skeletons to lively mariachis, participants will hit the pavement ready for fun and fitness.
