There's more than just bragging rights on the line at the 6th Annual Governor's Challenge Cornhole Tournament.
This annual event, presented by the Home Builders Association of Craven and Pamlico Counties and sponsored in part by Ward and Smith, benefits the Tryon Palace Foundation. Formed in 1993, the nonprofit helps preserve North Carolina's rich history from early settlement through the mid-twentieth century.
The Governor's Challenge starts at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 27 on the Tryon Palace South Lawn. If you would like to participate in the tournament, click here. Admission is free for spectators.
