Director of IT Charles Collins to Speak at NCPLA Fall Meeting on Cybersecurity Risks for Law Firms

Director of Information Technology Charles Collins will present at the North Carolina Professional Lobbyists Association (NCPLA) Annual Meeting, taking place October 30–31.

On Thursday, October 31, Charles will lead a session titled “Phishing and Other Scams Targeting Law Firms.” His presentation will focus on the growing wave of cybersecurity threats that target legal professionals and law firms—particularly phishing schemes and social engineering attacks designed to exploit the trust inherent in client communications. Drawing from real-world examples and his extensive experience safeguarding sensitive legal data, Charles will share practical strategies for identifying and mitigating these risks.
