From IP to Inclusion: Erica Rogers Joins NCCU and the Pauli Murray Center Panel

Erica Rogers

Inclusivity in law isn’t just a talking point—it’s the backbone of a profession that serves everyone.

On October 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., intellectual property attorney Erica Rogers will join a panel of attorneys for the Pauli Murray Center and NCCU School of Law’s Inclusivity in Law Panel / National Coming Out Day Celebration at The Pinhook in Durham.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the evening mixes substance with community: a candid conversation moderated by Sloan Godbey, a 3L at NCCU School of Law, plus performances by Durham icons Naomi Dix and her drag son, SS Byrdie, along with food, drinks, and time to connect in a welcoming space.

If you’re a law student, attorney, in-house counsel, or community member weighing whether to go, expect real talk about what it means to be queer in the legal profession today: the challenges, the wins, and the steps allies can take to make change stick. Tickets are available at the door, but advance registration helps the organizers plan for capacity and accessibility needs. Reserve your spot here: https://www.etix.com.
