Ward and Smith is pleased to be a supporter of the 10th Annual Julian T. Pierce Memorial Art Dinner on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
This event serves as a tribute to JTP, who would have become North Carolina's first American Indian Superior Court judge had he not been killed while running for election. In 1988, he posthumously won the race by over 2,000 votes. Pierce devoted his life to advocating social change and fought for justice and equality for all people. Through this memorial dinner and art auction, his legacy can continue to inspire and help others.
The Dinner gets underway at 6 p.m. at UNC-Pembroke English E. Jones Auxiliary Gym on 1 University Drive in Pembroke, NC.
