Jamie Norment Elected to State Law Resources Board of Directors

Attorney Jamie Norment has been elected to the Board of Directors for State Law Resources, Inc. (SLR), a national network of independent law and lobbying firms that focus on government relations between state and local governments.

He will serve in this leadership role through 2027, continuing his commitment to advancing the legal profession and supporting clients in navigating complex legal and policy challenges. 

SLR is a national organization of independent law and lobbying firms specializing in administrative, regulatory, and government relations law. The group’s mission is to assist businesses, trade associations, and public policy organizations in navigating complex legal and regulatory challenges with a focus on the state level. The organization selects one firm per state, and Ward and Smith has proudly represented North Carolina in this distinguished network for several years. 

As leader of Ward and Smith’s Government Relations Practice Group, Jamie brings extensive experience in public policy and regulatory matters. He advocates for clients across industries, working with legislative and administrative bodies to protect their interests. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in helping clients address complex challenges at the intersection of law and policy.
