Lance Martin to Receive Buncombe County Bar Pro Bono Award

The Buncombe County Bar is honoring creditors’ rights attorney Lance Martin.

He will receive the 2019 Pro Bono Award for his exemplary work to help low-income clients. Lance is one of four attorneys who will be recognized during the Bar’s Pro Bono Celebration on Wednesday, May 15 at the Celine & Company’s “On Broadway” venue in downtown Asheville. The other honorees are Alex Gomes, Natalie Gray, and Eleanor Powers.

Lance is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Business Bankruptcy Law. He represents creditors in bankruptcy, collections, foreclosures, Uniform Commercial Code security agreement enforcement, and structured liquidations and workouts.  He also represents clients in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contract, loan, and workout agreements.
