Family law attorney Lauren Quinn has been elected to serve on the North Carolina Bar Association's (NCBA) Family Law Section Council.
She is the second Ward and Smith attorney to serve in this role. John Martin, an NC State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Family Law, rolled off the council in June 2020.
The Family Law Section promotes improvements in family law practice through legislative changes, legal education, practice guides, as well as pro bono legal services and mentoring. It also provides information on legal and policy developments relating to children and families.
Lauren leads Ward and Smith's Family Law practice. Her practice encompasses various areas of civil litigation with a primary focus on complex familial issues. Her practice includes premarital and post-marital agreements, complex equitable distribution, custody and child support litigation, and adoption.
