I am the middle child with an older sister and younger brother. Although we have a large age gap, we are extremely close!
What do you like to do in your downtime when you’re not studying?
I love to listen to live music and watch reality TV with friends!
What is your favorite movie?
The Batman.
What is your favorite book?
In an Instant.
What is your favorite food?
I love seafood!
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I love North Carolina’s beaches. I’m so fortunate to get a mini-vacation each time I visit my parents on Oak Island.
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
Hawaii!
If you knew you could try anything and not fail, what dream would you pursue?
I am always so impressed with singers and musical theatre performers. As someone with no natural singing abilities, I would pursue that!
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I have a great tolerance for spicy foods. I use hot sauce on everything I eat!
Why do you want to be an attorney?
Being an attorney allows me to work with the public and help people navigate complex situations.
What sparked your interest in law?
As a political science major, I really enjoyed my classes at UNC-Chapel Hill that focused on legal issues.
What is the hardest part of law school?
The hardest part is also the best part; there’s just so much to learn.
What are you most excited to learn during your time here at Ward and Smith?
I am so excited to experience the culture at each office across North Carolina and hope to learn more about litigation at Ward and Smith.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I hope to be a trial attorney in North Carolina. I would love to wrap up my workday with a walk downtown or on the beach.
What’s the best advice someone has given you?
Perseverance is the ultimate key to success.

Driven, funny, outgoing.
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
An amazing collection of antique glass.
Western or Eastern barbecue? And, why?
Although I’m not a huge fan of barbecue, even I know that Eastern barbecue is the best!
If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would the slogan be?
Be happy with what you have and work for what you want!
