Recognizing Leadership: Ward and Smith Proudly Sponsors the 15th Annual Community Fabric Awards

The Craven Community College Foundation is set to host the 15th Annual Community Fabric Awards (CFA) on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Riverfront Convention Center of Craven County.  

Ward and Smith is proud to support this celebration of individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service within the community.

This year’s honorees include:​

• Gary Baldree: Recipient of the Award for Individual Leadership.​
• Robinson & Stith Insurance, led by President Mr. Jimmy Robinson: Recipient of the Award for Business Leadership.​
• Catherine Alligood, Principal of A.H. Bangert Elementary School, Craven County Schools: Recipient of the Award for Leadership in Education.​

The CFA was established in 2011 to recognize and encourage activities that significantly impact the local community. Funds raised through event sponsorships and ticket sales support the Foundation’s programs, equipment, facilities, and emerging college initiatives. ​

Notably, our esteemed founding partners, Troy Smith and David Ward, are past CFA recipients, underscoring their commitment to community excellence.
