For 15 years, the Day of the Dead 5K has brought together runners, walkers, and community members for an unforgettable celebration of culture, remembrance, and fitness.
Hosted by the nOg Run Club and Centro Mexican Restaurant, the event will return on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Raleigh.
Participants will lace up for a scenic run through the streets of Raleigh, including the historic Oakwood Cemetery, before joining an epic street party outside Centro on South Wilmington Street. Along the way, they’ll have the chance to honor loved ones at a beautifully decorated altar, celebrating life while paying tribute to those who have passed.
The race also continues its beloved “Sponsor a Little Runner” program, giving over 100 children from the Boys & Girls Club the opportunity to join in. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $175,000 for the Brentwood Boys & Girls Club.
