Step into the Spotlight: Nominations Open for the 2024 Mid-Market Fast 40!

Ward and Smith is pleased to participate in a collaborative effort aimed at acknowledging successful mid-market enterprises in North Carolina.

We are excited to announce that nominations are currently being accepted for the 14th Annual Mid-Market Fast 40 program, an annual initiative designed to celebrate companies demonstrating entrepreneurial acumen, innovative business approaches, and substantial revenue expansion. Ward and Smith has joined forces with Business North Carolina, Cherry Bekaert LLP, and Regions Bank to recognize and commend these industry-leading organizations.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible, a company must:

• Be headquartered in North Carolina
• Be a commercial enterprise, not a nonprofit
• Be either privately owned or publicly traded
• Have net annual revenue in the range of $10 million to $500 million
• Demonstrate sustained revenue and employment growth over the past three years

The Nomination Process

Companies that meet the eligibility criteria are invited to complete the nomination form to commence the nomination process. To nominate a company, click here.

The selection committee will assess all applicants who express interest and subsequently contact the finalists to arrange brief meetings with a view to validating the provided information. An interview with a company executive will also be conducted for the accompanying article. All reported revenue and employment data is rigorously verified by the independent accounting firm of Cherry Bekaert. This information is maintained with the utmost confidentiality under a standard confidentiality agreement and privacy policy.
