Steven Long to present "Retirement Plan Corrections" to the Triangle Benefits Forum

 

Tax and Employee Benefits attorney Steven Long will discuss Retirement Plan Corrections at the November 28 Triangle Benefits Forum Meeting hosted by Ward and Smith's Raleigh office. Long served as President of the Triangle Benefits Forum in 2009-10, and has spoken to the group regularly. The upcoming agenda will look at retirement plan corrections from a statistical perspective, and will include a review of the landscape for federal tax reform, possible changes to employee benefits, and changes to retirement plan rules. The event is open to members of the Triangle Benefits Forum.

Founded in 1990, the Triangle Benefits Forum is a North Carolina professional group located in the Triangle. Outside speakers are often invited to present at the monthly meetings, including representatives from the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor and the North Carolina Department of Insurance. The forum consists of attorneys, accountants, bank trust officers, consultants, insurance professionals, paralegals, benefits administrators, and other employee benefits professionals.
