This year's gala, set for Saturday, August 23, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., promises an unforgettable evening of music, food, and community support at the beautiful Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington.
Now in its 13th year, the White Pants Gala is known for blending a stylish summer sendoff with a powerful purpose. The theme for 2025 is “Your Place in the Sun”—a nod to the event’s laid-back charm and commitment to shining a light on vital hospice and palliative care services across southeastern North Carolina. Last year’s White Pants Gala raised an incredible $130,000 and helped provide care for over 1,000 families.
Guests will be treated to an exciting lineup of entertainment and indulgence throughout the evening. Live music from the high-energy Emerald Empire Band will keep the dance floor full all night long, while Middle of the Island Catering serves up an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres. Attendees can sip and socialize with a wide selection of spirits, wines, and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages. The event also features a popular silent auction offering exclusive items and one-of-a-kind experiences, along with a Rare Bourbon Raffle that gives guests the chance to take home coveted top-shelf bottles.
