Ward and Smith Sponsors NCBiotech’s 2026 Life Sciences Summit in Greenville

What does the next chapter of North Carolina’s life sciences industry look like?

On September 17, leaders from across the state will come to Greenville to discuss that question at NCBiotech’s annual Life Sciences Summit.

The Summit will bring together people working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, human therapeutics, workforce development, education, economic development, and related fields. It will offer a day of business insight, new ideas, and meaningful connections for those helping shape the future of life sciences in North Carolina.

Hosted at East Carolina University’s Main Campus Student Center, the event will serve as the culmination of NC Life Sciences Week, which runs September 14 through 18, 2026. This year’s program will focus on economic development, innovation, and workforce development.

Eastern North Carolina is an important hub for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, workforce training, and programs that prepare people for careers in the life sciences. Employers, educators, and community partners throughout the region are working together to support industry growth and develop solutions to significant health challenges.
