In honor of October being breast cancer awareness month, Ward and Smith is thrilled to announce our support of the Pink Strong | Steel Strong fundraiser.
This month-long initiative is a joint effort between the Dave Steel Company, Beverly-Grant, and Sixty West Funds to raise $100,000 for the American Cancer Society. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in American women, with more than 3.1 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. currently. Money raised through this outreach campaign will help fund breast cancer research, provide education and guidance to help people reduce their risk, and other comprehensive patient support to those who need it most.
We are honored to take part in a corporate sponsor thank-you event on Friday, October 18, in Asheville, which includes the signing of a pink steel beam. The event signals the culmination of a series of awareness and fundraising activities for The American Cancer Society.
