Ward and Smith Tees Up Support for Pitt County Young Life Golf Classic

There’s a new addition to the leaderboard this August: community support.

Ward and Smith is pleased to sponsor the Pitt County Young Life Golf Classic, set for Monday, August 10, at Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, NC. Tee off begins at 1:00 p.m.

The tournament raises funds for the Pitt County Young Life Operating Fund, which covers the organization’s yearly ministry costs. Those costs include Young Life Club, Campaigns, Contact Work, Camp, and Staffing. Young Life relies on community support to keep these programs running and to stay connected with local students.

Golf tournaments like this one bring together local businesses and community members for a shared purpose. Every swing on the course that day supports work that reaches young people throughout Pitt County.
