BASE Names Sam Franck as Board Chairman

The Business Alliance for a Sound Economy (BASE) has elected real estate attorney Sam Franck as the organization’s new Board Chair for 2019. He previously served as Vice Chairman.

Founded in 2003, the BASE advocates for sustainable development and predictable and transparent regulations that enable smart and efficient growth. It does this by tracking local, state, and federal issues that affect the Cape Fear region and promoting policies that support the smart and effective growth of our community.

Sam Franck leads Ward and Smith’s Real Estate practice and is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law: Commercial Transactions.  His practice experience includes all aspects of commercial real estate, including real estate development. He has been named a “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina since 2018.
