Bill Durr Elected Asheville Downtown Association Board of Directors President

The Asheville Downtown Association (ADA) has elected Bill Durr to lead its board of directors.

Bill will serve as the board's president for the 2022 calendar year.  The remainder of the Board's Executive Committee includes Beth Lane of McGuire Wood & Bissette as Vice-president, Catawba Brewing's Clair Greear as Secretary, and Board Treasurer, Anna Priest with Asheville Bookkeep. 

Bill has been an active ADA member for many years and previously held roles on the Board's Executive Committee as Secretary and most recently, Vice-President. In the ADA's press release, Bill stated he was looking forward to leading the Asheville Downtown Association in his new role. “I am excited and honored to lead the Asheville Downtown Association Board of Directors this year. We are looking forward to an exciting 12 months, as we focus on our advocacy efforts and a return to in-person entertainment events.”

Started in 1987, the Asheville Downtown Association's mission is to be a leader and advocate for the vitality of downtown Asheville.  The Association serves its 350+ members through marketing support, advocacy, and networking opportunities.
