Ward and Smith is thrilled to announce Cliff Parson as the new Real Estate Development Practice Group Leader.
He will lead a team of fifteen attorneys who have a breadth of experience and knowledge to guide clients from conception to completion of development projects throughout the southeastern United States.
Cliff's practice experience includes representing individual and corporate clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, and leases for office and retail space. Additionally, he has experience in the preparation and interpretation of restrictive and protective covenants and other planned community and condominium documents, including marina developments. And he provides legal services to cities, public housing authorities, community colleges, and other independent subdivisions of the State, and has extensive experience with board governance issues, open meetings laws, and public records laws.
Cliff has been recognized as a "Legal Elite" by Business North Carolina for his work in real estate law.
