Celebrate the luck of the Irish tonight in New Bern.
The New Bern Rotary Club is hosting its annual Sham-Rockin' Celebration, starting at 6 p.m., at Tryon Palace's NC History Center. Ward and Smith is a proud sponsor of this yearly fundraiser that benefits local projects and programs, such as The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain, Backpack Blessings, Craven County Partners in Education, MERCI Clinic, RCS, the New Bern Marching Band, and so much more. Tonight's event is sold out.
The Rotary Club of New Bern is a civic organization that supports the local community through grants to area non-profits, college scholarships, as well as organizes community service projects. The Rotary Club of New Bern is a part of Rotary International, which undertakes many humanitarian efforts throughout the world.
