Honor Local Heroes at the 13th Annual Community Fabric Awards with Ward and Smith!

Ward and Smith is honored to lend our support to an initiative aimed at recognizing and celebrating community heroes.

The 13th Annual Community Fabric Awards will take place on April 25 at the Riverfront Convention Center in New Bern, NC. This epic event highlights those who have shown exceptional leadership, initiative, and impact through their service to others in three leadership categories: individual, business, and education. The 2023 recipients are:

• Ms. Susan Moffat-Thomas
  Recipient of the Award for Individual Leadership

• Mr. Carl C. Huddle
  Trader Construction Company President
  Recipient of the Award for Business Leadership

• Mr. Jerry Simmons
  New Bern High School Principal
  Recipient of the Award for Leadership in Education

Craven Community College Foundation created the Community Fabric Awards in 2011 to recognize, reward, and encourage activities that have a significant impact on meeting the needs of our local communities.
