Honoring Excellence: Ward and Smith Sponsors New Bern Area Eagle Scout Banquet

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is no small feat.

And on Thursday, March 26, the East Carolina Council of Scouting America will celebrate 21 individuals who have done exactly that at the 2026 New Bern Area Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet.

Jim Burns, an Eagle Scout and former Troop 132 Scoutmaster, will deliver the keynote address. The evening will close with the presentation of the Eagle Scout Projects of the Year Award and project presentations from recipients.

Ward and Smith is proud to support the young men and women of the East Carolina Council as they reach this milestone and carry its lessons of leadership, service, and character into their communities.
