Ward and Smith attorney Jeremy Wilson has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.
In this role, Jeremy will help support the organization’s efforts to increase access to affordable housing in the Cape Fear region.
Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that works to build and repair homes for individuals and families in need of safe, stable housing. Through volunteer labor, financial donations, and community partnerships, the organization helps families achieve homeownership with affordable mortgages. Habitat homeowners also contribute “sweat equity” by helping build their own homes and the homes of others.
Jeremy’s background as a litigator gives him experience navigating complex legal matters, including personal injury claims, professional liability issues, and business disputes. His legal knowledge and commitment to community service will help support Cape Fear Habitat’s mission as the organization continues to expand its impact.
Jeremy will serve alongside other community leaders on the board to help guide strategic decisions, support fundraising efforts, and advocate for affordable housing solutions across the region. His term began this year.
